The Taumata Arowai Register of Drinking Water Supplies is the official public register for information about drinking water supplies in Aotearoa New Zealand.  

Some drinking water supplies may not yet appear on the public register as we’re still working to confirm details of some of the almost 2,000 supplies that were transferred from the Ministry of Health. Once a supplier verifies their supplies in Hinekōrako (our self-service portal for suppliers and laboratories) they’ll appear on this public register.
Supplies with a registration status of Lapsed have not completed their duties under the Water Services Act 2021 (the Act) to periodically confirm or update their registration details. The details for their supply are included on the register but may not be up to date.

Under special circumstances, suppliers can ask for information to be withheld from this register, which is why you may see the word ‘withheld’ in relation to some supply information.
